Zoo Camp Ages 12-13 Half-Day
Photos for Conservation
Explore conservation issues facing some of the world's most
endangered animals while experiencing the excitement of
capturing a once-in-a-lifetime photograph. Using their creativity
will not only get campers closer than ever to their favorite Zoo
animals, but also will allow them to actively participate in conser-
vation efforts necessary for the survival of these species. Each
camper will take home a flash drive containing his or her photo-
graphs at the end of the week. Zoo Campers are encouraged
to bring their own digital cameras (three megapixels or higher).
For this program, "base camp" will be the Water's Edge classroom
overlooking the polar bear exhibit!
