Keeper Conversations
Students in grades 11 & 12 who would like to shadow a zookeeper will tour animal areas as they chat with keepers and aquarists about the work they love. Space is limited for this exclusive opportunity. Students must have the recommendation of a teacher or guidance counselor to participate.
Our schedule for the 2013-2014 school year is as follows:
October 1, 2013 - Cats & reptiles/red panda
November 5, 2013 - Elephants & giraffes/PPG Aquarium & Water's Edge
December 3, 2013 - Primates* & PPG Aquarium
February 4, 2014 - Cats & PPG Aquarium
March 4, 2014 - Primates* & PPG Aquarium
April 1, 2014 - Kids Kingdom/elephants & giraffes

Pizza with the Keepers
Students in grades 11 & 12 are invited to join keepers, aquarists, and
veterinary staff for an informal lunch to discuss animal-related career goals.
Staff from the following departments may be in attendance: Kids Kingdom,
Reptiles, Mammals, PPG Aquarium, & Veterinary/Animal Care. Registration
is open and space is limited for this popular program.
