UPMC Health Plan Tram Rides

Tram Rides are available daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The UPMC Health Plan Zoo Tram provides a covered ride through the Zoo with stops at eight different locations. Simply purchase a Tram wristband and you can board or disembark as many times as you wish during the day. You can explore at your own pace, then proceed on the tram to your next adventure. The Tram stops at each well-marked location approximately every 20 minutes. The Tram is for your convenience in navigating the Zoo, and is not a guided tour.

 Daily Cost
$1 for Senior Citizens ages 60+ and ADA visitors
$2 for all other riders

Tram Rentals
Tram rentals are available weekdays June through September (weather and availability permitting) with exclusive rental for a minimum of three hours at $25 per hour. Please request your tram at least three weeks in advance.
