Emperor Scorpion
The Emperor scorpion (Pandinus imperator) is one of the largest species of scorpion in the world, with adults averaging about eight inches in length. This scorpion has a large tail with a slight curve at the end called the telson, which contains its venom glands.

Reproduction: Female emperor scorpions give birth to 9-32 live babies after a gestation period of about seven to nine months.
Fun Facts: Mother emperor scorpions have been known to have cannibalistic tendencies and sometimes eat their young.
